Low Life is a custom scripted roleplay server based off Grand Theft Auto V. The server is designed to allow players to engage in fundamental roleplay experiences. Scripts have been coded to allow players to perform various tasks, jobs, robberies, own vehicles, homes and much more.
This community represents friendship, love, care and compassion. Everyone here has the same mindset and those who don't fade away quickly. LowLife has become not only a roleplay server but a place where many people have come together to enjoy a common interest, to share their daily thoughts, and to enjoy some of the greatest RP scenarios known you will ever see. As a community we strive to ensure our players are enjoying the RP experience from both ends of the spectrum and not solely a one player RP experience.
In late October 2019 I was browsing through the internet trying to find a VR mod for GTAV as I was bored and was looking for something to do and I've always enjoyed modding GTA and other games.
While doing research I stumbled across a FiveM forum which led me into GTA Role Play. I quickly jumped between a few servers and was quickly banned from others for fail RP or "GTA Online Driving" LOL.
I then realized this was a bit more serious than I imagined and decided to learn how to play the game properly. Man I was Hooked! I then found a server I enjoyed and quickly made a lot of friends, started a crew and had countless interactions. I have to say its been great! I have met a couple of great friends along the way which I have enjoyed spending time with for hours at a time.
In late October 22 and learning began...…..
In Late February 2020 during the world pandemic of Covid-19, myself along with Billions of other people lost their jobs or have been furloughed. This has been a very unfortunate event for people all across the world.
Since the plan was to stay in doors for some time, I figured I spend some time doing something supportive in my own way. I wanted to create a community where lots of different people can connect during this time and disconnect from everything that's going on outside.
At the beginning of March 2020, I began working on Low Life very silently. I worked on the server every minute of the day until the caffeine couldn't keep my eyes open any longer (boy am I glad my wife is supportive, LoL). Thanks to Skylar and Frank which Worked countless hours with me testing the server and reporting major bugs along the way.
Finally after putting well over 500 Hours into the server, we went live in the middle of May 2020. We have seen 7000+ different Users in just a few months time and we have grown on discord very quickly in just matter of weeks. I have to say I was shocked and did not expect this kind of response. The love and and the community is the best hidden gem of Low Life.
